• Can a TTT server moderate itself entirely through voting?

This is something I've been thinking over lately. Can you run a server without any staff but by giving the playerbase tools to moderate themselves? I can already envision abuse if a group of people come on and start causing trouble together or if everyone is ganging up on one guy, so that wouldn't really work. But a server without staff *might* require less upkeep unless it turns entirely into a project of trying to automate everything. I'm just wondering how or if it can be feasibly done and maybe spark some discussion
Like you said, people could abuse it and gang up on others. I can't think of any way to prevent that while, at the same time, providing the means for the server to moderate itself at an acceptable level. It feels like the players would always have either too little power to actually do any meaningful moderation, or too much power, which would open itself to abuse.
maybe make something like this: If an innocent1 killed an innocent2, then innocent2 has the ability to slay innocent1(Unless innocent2 shot him first) IMO the server can't be entirely automatical sory gremer
