Ok, I have a server it gets around 30 players per day -max. I recently had the problem of lag. I found out that was due to the ammount of addons on the server. I fixed everything but I still don't have the ammount of FPS as most servers do. any help? Information: Your server is currently being hosted on a Intel Xeon E3-1271v3 (Haswell 3.6ghz) node with 4 total processor cores and 32 gigabytes of RAM. The database code for this node is chicago-quad36-h-10-m7b; its OS is Windows. CPU usage: 8.23% Free physical memory: 25437mb Machine uptime: 66 days, 5 hours, 35 minutes, 34 seconds Your server has high priority on this machine. This is on managed VDS/machine chicago-quad36-h-10-m7b. Now i believe thats a pretty good processer and should be able to run darkrp on map: rp_evocity_v33x fine I have 50 addons in my workshop collection, and around 20-30 in my addons folder. People complain about getting 20-30 FPS when they should be getting 60 FPS P.S My tickrate is 33
FPS is not latency Latency describes how long it takes for signals to move from your computer to the server. FPS describes how many times your computer can draw a picture every second. If your users are complaining of low FPS, it's likely an addon is coded badly, and no amount of buying a stronger server will help it. If you are suffering from the same low FPS your players are, you can try disabling addons one by one to see which one is pulling your fps down. Specifically look for addons that are heavy on the graphics, or draw lots of stuff on the screen.
