How can I update existing FastDL files?

I hooked up my server with FastDL, but there's a couple files I've modified since the first time I joined the server with my client. Is there any way to force the clients to re-download certain files?

The only way is to change the name of the file or have the user's delete their downloaded files

Yeah..you should only put finished files on the fastdl, or use workshop.

But you could try changing the fastdl url, like changing fastdl.website.com to fastdl2.website.com, I dont know if it'll have an effect.

You should be able hack your way around the problem by juggling between bzip2'd files and non-compressed ones.
Basically, compress the files and the server will try to use the bzip2 ones, remove the bzip2 ones and it will use the uncompressed ones when it cannot find the compressed ones.

You should use the Workshop instead anyway.
