This might be the wrong place to post this, so apologies if that's the case.
If anyone reading this is from the UK, or any other country that isn't the US for that matter would have by now had gmod change their keyboard layout to American.
I know it isn't something explicitly caused because of GMod, and it's kinda a Windows issue, but does anyone know the exact cause, or better yet - a way to prevent or change the keyboard language back when I tab out?
This is getting seriously annoying when I'm tabbing and and out to test stuff I'm working on :c

You can add both your desired layout and US standard layout to Windows, then toggle between them with win+space

Just found a ghetto work around for Win 10 if anyone is actually wondering though. Just change the United States language to have the UK keyboard layout.

I'm able to switch between English and Norwegian in the game on Win10 using alt+shift.
