Putting Ticks and other characters into server names

Hi, I'm helping some guy out with his new Gmod server since he's new to all this stuff,
anyway I was trying to make his server look more appealing so I wanted to put things like
ticks in in it

What I mean by ticks (I didn't put the server name since I don't want anyone to think I'm advertising):

Anyway the problem is that when I change the hostname to this it simply changes the
ticks to "?" and I know it's possible to have ticks in your server name since I've seen
other servers do it, I as wondering if anyone knew how I could put ticks and other
characters in it.

Try using ✓ or ✔ because that's the HTML equivalent and the gmod menu is built in HTML

Thanks for the help but unfortunately that didn't work, I put ✔ where I wanted the ticks to be and I tried the other one too, neither worked :( I did do it without spaces, when I look at the server instead of showing the tick it simply says ✓
