Garrys mod dedicated sercer is not loading .gma files in the addons folder

so I just set my server up and I'm having issues with the content in the addons folder. the folders are working but .gma files are not loading up. I have no clue how to fix this. I used to be just fine dropping them in when I hosted before

You need to export those .gma files if you are dedicated server (or non-online)

But hey what do I know?

Put the GMA files in the root folder. (/garrysmod/XXX.gma)

I've done it before its just a pain going through all the addons 1 by 1. they should just bring back being able to mount .gma files. anyways thanks man

Actually my bad, it will only work next GMod update. Next update you can put .gma files in the root of the gamefolder and they will load on your server.

okay, what update, its been a year and its still not working, the server im developer on has a kid owner and doesnt really do stuff like add TDM cars(all tdm cars) and add more steam worlshop stuff, and I am NOT extracting each and every car (which is around 3GB) abd every plugin! Please help me, i have put the GMA in the roo t folder, and in the addons folder, still doesnt work!!!!!!!

Put the files inside an addon inside addons folder.
