this software's really hard for me, but that's not the point.
How do you make objects interact with themselves ?
For example: In meet the heavy, he carries the minigun and then he puts it down, you can clearly see, that the minigun is shaking and all that shit. Or when he grabs it, there's a small jitter and it looks like it's moving, cuz heavy interacts with it.
Please don't tell me, that they manually animated it, cause that's impossible :D

The minigun is animated actually, you can see the movement trails on it.

That's not impossible..? In fact, it really isn't hard to do that. The minigun shaking animation probably took under 15 minutes to make.
They animated all of the meet the team videos in Maya I believe. SFM is only used for final touches if I am not mistaken. Don't get me wrong, SFM is amazing, but using proper animation software like 3DS Max and Maya is the way to go if you want good animations.
