Can't Start SFM - Games - Facepunch Forum

Hey guys, need some help This keeps happening [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/DkH8l.jpg[/IMG] I can't even open that window that is highlighted... No idea how to fix it, I've verified game cache, completely re-installed SFM, restarted it over 30 times now, not working Any ideas???

Very sad, I could be your computer specs. I run SFM under some of the minimal specs(I think) and it works for me. So I'm not entierly sure, I really feel sorry for you man.

Tried running it with Windows 7 Compatibility Mode, still nothing, (It worked on Windows 8 earlier, it's stopped after the latest patch) and I'm way over minimum specs.

Try looking if there's a keyboard shortcut for maximizing windows I suppose selecting this window and hitting WIN+ left arrow key should work

What happens if you try to start TF2? I don't mean the one built into SFM, I mean actual TF2.

Whenever I start up SFM the splash screen shows up and it just goes "Not Responding." Worked fine before the update. EDIT: Wait nevermind, it just suddenly decided to open. I wish SFM would stop fucking around with me.

I know this won't help but it started for me on Windows 8, so the problem isn't here. I had a similar issue because of a driver problem, try to install your latest graphic card drivers.

This is wierd because it's doing this for me on Windows 7 as well. Just press alt+space and then maximize it.

Verify your Cache? I couldn't launch mine for the longest time until I did, although it wasn't the same exact problem.
