Hey, first thread yay...
Anyway, i found this awesome medieval map i wanted to use for a movie but my com isnt fast enough to add the HDR to it. Could anyone add HDR to this map?

Any help is appreciated...
Doesn't always need HDR to run with lighting, if that's your problem. If so, I experienced a similar problem, just press ~ once the map is loaded and type 'mat_fullbright 0' and it should turn on lighting again.
Thank you, man. It was really helpful.

oh, well then can someone just help with the HDR. When i tried the mat_fullbright 0 method, everything became awkwardly colored...

Might take a while, though.

OK so here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?8doauwb9dh0712y
Turns out it wasn't your computer, running the map on normal resulted in the portalFlow stage grinding practically to a halt at 0....1....2...3! Which basically means this thing would have never finished compiling.
It's possible this is because of the de-compile, I got an error. So what I did was to run VVIS in fast mode and that seemed to do the trick. This can sometimes result in shadows from dynamic lights behaving badly but I did some quick tests and everything seems to be working fine.
It's very possible that some well placed hint brushes would fix this but I'm not very knowledgeable in that area and the map appears to be working just fine.
I've already submitted this to SFMbox.
Enjoy!
Holy Sh*t man. Thank you so much! If i put this on youtube, you'll be in the credits.
Glad I could help :)
