(I am Running Windows 7 with a Nvidia Geforce 555M, Dual Core Intel i7 2.4 Ghz Processor, 8 Gigs of Ram)
So at first I had the white lines/fullbright problem, but I fixed that by making sure SFM uses my Nvidia video card. Now, when I use SFM, the viewport lags between the scene and the engine window, and it only plays audio when i try to play through the clip. What is the engine window you may ask? Go to Windows>Engine Window and uncheck Auto-hide engine window. So what I see in my viewport is a small version of that window and my frozen scene. Any solutions?
Same problem with my GT 555m.
Should you post this in the FAQ?

I did, but I also posted it here in hopes of a better chance for a response.
Until the bug with the 555M is fixed, I am going to use integrated graphics (which shows the white line and washed out line, but is still usable) for all the actual work and see if the Nvidia card will work for the rendering. This won't allow me to mess with the lighting because I won't be able to see the results, but I will still be able to get things done. I recommend that until the flickering/messed up viewport with the 555M is fixed, people who have that card should use integrated graphics for animating.
