After joining The Original Screenshot warring GMod post-a-thon...And being ridiculed off of it. I recently got the SFM, and found it Significantly Easier than Posing in GMod. So I decided, why not make a Thread? Based off of Private Jenkins' Thread which was a sequel to Greatdictator's thread. DA RULEZ: Have one theme to your army. I don't think Giant realistic mechas paired with TF2 characters is very. Good. No bullshit nukes or superweapons. Keep your common sense. I recommend Using posters, Because videos for everything would make no Progress. Of course, If you're quick and good at making videos, you can do that too. I don't really recommend TF2 Maps. Post a Bio for each of your Units and Commanders (A.K.A. Picture plus a few Sentences.) Also a Pic or 2 of your base would be nice. As well as your bios and other Pics, Post some of your activities. Model Things: If you want cleanly installed models, Follow this: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1196051 If you're lazy like me, Just go to C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/(Your Username here.)/(Game you want here)/(That game's abreviation) and copy the models and materials folders to the C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Source Filmmaker/tf You should easily find your models if you know the name or models folder they're in. This should also work likewise with maps. (Except for L4D2 Onwards.) I recommend putting in CS:S, Both Half-Life 2 Episodes, and Day of Defeat: Source. Half-Life 2 stuff comes standard with SFM. Getting the models for your army will require you to A: Atleast get CS:S Installed. And B:Go somewhere where they do good models. The Best places are www.garrysmod.org and Our Modelling section under 'Valve Games and Mods' I'll be posting my Corperate thing soon. Sorry if this seems confusing to you guys.
If you improved your posing and attitude, then we would've been more than happy to let you back in.
Oh for fuck sake, Can I not be left alone by you bunch of Pricks?
I'm not trying to bother you, but I'm just telling you that you're always welcomed back into the Espionage wars thread if you improve your attitude and I'm sure some of us would be willing to help you improve posing. Anyways, have a good evening.
You are a massive tool, I usually stay out of the drama in the espionage thread, but really you are a arrogant big headed and somewhat egotistical prick... you are extreamly rude to newcomers, and you're just overall dislikeable, Feel free to hop back into the thread when you've improved your attitude.. Also this thread is going to fall flat on it's face... I bid you a good day.
Oh for fuck sake, Can I not be left alone by you bunch of Pricks?
poor you, receiving constructive criticism
I actually see potential in using Source Filmmaker with the Espionage Wars thread to make kickass animated sequences and make posing easier. Just ignore SniperComZero and lets see how this SFM Adaption works before we come to any conclusions.
The people over at Espionage Wars could allow Source Filmmaker to be used to make stuff. Because my Gmod's broken as [sp]heck[/sp].
