Okay, so I've been off of the forums for quite a while, hopefully it hasn't been overrun by noobs. (and hopefully that's not as harsh as the previous version of this OP) Here's my late entry into the tutorial scene that everyone needs to post, although I threw in some relatively good cinematography and a nice moment with a BLU soldier's hat and a RED rocket. I didn't bother with custom three point lighting setups because I was lazy at the time and I wasn't trying to pitch a horrible film adaption of a game to Hollywood.

When the slow motion rocket was shot, it didn't come out of the rocket. The BLU soldier also didn't move his left arm at all.

I liked the whole soldier hat thing.

The soldier hat part was the only part I like, the rest was a bit too simple. You should keep the idea of the hat part and make a new video (with some story, I don't know) using it.

That seems to happen when you're recording the shot from the first person perspective. You usually don't notice it unless you're going through frame-by-frame. And yes, the BLU soldier was just a quick rough animation job by me. I'll admit it was kind of half-assed. I didn't feel the need to convey it super realistically though, since it was more of a cinematography test than anything. Have a look at the .dmx which is linked in the description if you guys want to poke around in it a bit.
