• Missing Textures in SFM which I have??? SFM doesn't know about the gcfs?

So there's this map called dm_stripclub.bsp for half life 2 deathmatch and in sfm, most of the textures are missing, mainly the brick and conrete, purple and black squares everywhere, I was wondering how to let sfm know I have all the hl2 games, I even have l4d 1/2 and tf2. As of now, I'm currently adding the game paths to the gameinfo.txt hoping it'll work. :p and the search paths, but does anyone know the solution?
You need the game objects themselves in SFM. As an example, just put a folder in the /game/ folder called randomshit, add the game objects, textures and everything else in there that you need for the map, go to usermod folder and open gameinfo.txt and add the following line. game randomshit

Like for gmod, there's extensions where you can just check so the game knows you want these models n stuff too.
SFM doesn't use GCFs

can someone help me test this map out, there's an area where there just purple checkers the ceiling at the bar. edit: nvm, i solved this, the vtf for the brick texture from hl2dm was corrupted
