What will happen to the codelock system we all know and love from rust. What will it be replaced with in Ruin. Im curious what you think and what ideas you have.
Something like this?
I really like that and I think it'd work really well.
A system like codelocks is necessary.
That would be so cool!
since they will implement guilds, i guess all guild mates can open guild gate or door by default ranked guild doors can be easy thing too
A key in which is stored in your inventory, which cannot be accessed to other players, or a spell / enchant in which grants a door to open to its owner / resident when requested. -Toastaie
The midevil combo lock could work, or have something like a keyring that can't be taken off your player. Magical or enchanted locks would be a good idea too.
Hmm something like a cryptex
Yep, that would work I bet.
seems like a great idea
In the medieval times there were keylocks, so I guess that's what's going to be used.
There would have to be a way to re-create a key if you ever got locked out of your home of lost your key. Maybe have an in game locksmith for this. Or be able to buy/make lockpicks.
We may not have modern technology, but we could still have Magic Powered inventions
honestly magic in this game would be incredible and could add so many things like code locks or something like that, it could also maybe go into almost steampunk magic like technology but that may be to much.
I can assume you don't play rust often with keylocks.
How is that implying I don't use codelocks? I use them, but like most everyone we all start with those crappy wood locks and sometimes loose our keys.
agree +1
