• RAM issues with newest patch 190?

my PC (i7, 970, 8gb ddr3, win7) is experiencing its first instance in about a year, of the telltale Rust RAM leak that has been talked about for a long time... im assuming theyre aware and working on it?
Try typing global.perf 6 into your console the next time you play, you can monitor your memory usage and other such details in the bottom-left. I've been playing Rust with 8GB of RAM for quite some time, but I'm upgrading to 16GB because 8GB doesn't cut it for gaming in 2017. Even Rust's recommended specs ask for 16GB of RAM. I usually hit 6.5 to 7.2GB, so I make sure to exit any applications (Firefox, etc) to run it. I have a GTX 770 and I have to play Rust at minimum in windowed to get it to run. The best you can do is just get more memory. A recent game is Spellforce 3, which would hit 7.5GB of memory and freeze, then crash. As Rust evolves and develops, more and more will be demanded of it, no matter how much they try to "Optimize" it.
