How can anyone keep their damn TC upkeep full when the server is down 5 hours a day? If you can't stop the DDOSERS the tc upkeep is completely unfair and needs to be removed.
How are you able to find the motivation to even go back to a server with hackers that DDOS the server all the time? How did you find the motivation to complain about this to rust, if it's you that keep on joining servers with high upkeep costs and technicaly it's your problem? And what excuse would you give if it was not getting DDOS?
I understand you don't like the upkeep, but thats why Rust gave us server owners the code to adjust it, so we could keep players like you happy after the update, and find a perfect balance of the numbers server owners are using on it.
Just try another server, there are plenty of them. For example, my own server, is under community. Every server there only using admin-only plugins that won't affect the gameplay of rust.
I've been playing for a year now, have had at least a dozen server, never ever had trouble with DDOS'ing. You picked the wrong server.
well i understand that there are a lot of people that are happy with playing on community etc. servers, but in my personal experience many of them basically die after their wipe day and the most popular ones that dont (entirely) die off each wipe have queues of up to 200 or even more people at peak times... also i have blueprints on these servers now so i dont want to change
the tc upkeep is ofc fine but only if you have access to your tc which is impossible without being able to connect to the server.... its like trying to fill your fridge at home but you cant wake up from sleeping
agree with everyone else been playing rust on over 25 servers for 3 and a half years over 150 wipes and only ever had a problem with 2 servers and that was when a hacker got banned and cried about it
I think you picked the wrong server
and anyway if you don't like the state that rust is in then stop crying about it and suck it up or just quit
