i recently got a computer with a AMD FX 6300 6 Core 8GBs of ram a 7200 RPM hard drive idk why im bsoding please help
What does the blue screen says? Every blue screen of death has an important message included with a code.
Did you get all computer parts brand new, or where they already used before?
Are you using a Legit version of windows?
Without the blue screen message / code, there is not much we can do here, maybe you should try to make a picture of it with your phone (asuming you have a smartphone) (because nowdays I see 6yo with smartphones)
i got this pc 2 weeks ago and i registered windows and everything the messages usually say KERNEL SECURITY FAILURE and MAX THREAD REACHED the computer i have is not OC'd or anything.
The ‘Kernel Security Check Failure‘ PC error can occur for various reasons like memory issues, virus infections, and more. However, the most common reason is that the drivers you were using for the previous Windows version are not compatible with the new Windows version. As a result, the OS gives you the ‘Kernel Security Check Failure’ error message followed by the 0x000000139 error code.
Got this from google. You should check your system drivers, included:
Motherboard, every driver of it! it has miltiple chips and drivers.
cpu
gpu
run windows update
make sure your pc does not have any virus.
"MAX THREAD REACHED" tells me that your cpu is overloaded, and maybe also overheating.
How much load does it have in % before the blue screen of death? If it's using 100% while gaming and it's doing this for a long time, you will need some realy good cooling for your cpu, otherwise it won't last long.
The reason I'm not posting links for it, is because every site that provides information about it will try to scamm you with providing "free check-tools". And I don't want to get banned because I linked that scams by accident.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THESE TYPES OF TOOLS, DON'T EVEN THINK OF IT, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HOVERING YOUR MOUSE TOWARDS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET A PROFFESIONAL TO LOOK TO YOUR PC INSTEAD!
This is a hardware issue caused by your own system, and has not much to do with rust itself.
I hope you will find the sollution for it, and you can be a happy gamer (again) !
the cpus at 68% while playing this game??? so im guessing windows is just telling me the wrong stop code. idk about kernel security failure doe...
it can be many things, but most likely the driver of your cpu, or your cpu is broken and not everything inside of it is working how it should.
Can't tell that with 100% guarantee, because I don't know if it's brand-new, or if you buyed it second-hand. Also I don't know if you higher up the voltage (overclock) and how hot it is getting.
The following thing is not meant to advertise!!!
To read out the temeratures I prefer you downloading and using core-temp, because amd mostly has a problem with reading temperatures through the motherboard bios (most temp readers use vullues given by motherboard readings, but on amd it can give standard 40 celcius and adds current temps above that, so 100 celcius will show while it's actualy 40 for example)
What I can tell is that "threads" is cpu related, if you watch the specs, it always says ...cores ...threads
So thats why I think you should visit the amd support site, watch for updates for your cpu, and see if it's compatible with your windows version.
Another thing to note: once the GPU drivers are installed, this can over-rule the cpu drivers. Maybe these 2 are conflicting with each other.
More I can not give from a distance, sorry.
I hope you will find the sollution.
i just got bought this pc 2 weeks ago its fairly new...
Then my advise is going back to the place you bought it and let them fix it, if you buy something new, they have to give guarantee on parts, mostly a year. Atleast thats how they used to work in the EU.
BSOD is a serious issue, it's the windows protection of preventing your pc turning into a fireball of melted silicon and plastic.
The fix is easy.
Disable anti malware Protection during Windows booting.
small chance, but he can better go back to the place where he bought it, because his pc is 2 weeks old. If he has attempted to fix it himself, the guarantee expires.
Computers should NEVER give the blue screen of death while brand new ;)
This we call PEBCAK at work. ;)
The RUST forum is not the place to ask this stuff, go to Microsoft support (The real one, not those Indonesians)
EAC is at the top when i boot up this game btw im starting to think its Easy Anti Cheat
