I need help with converting a ragdoll to a playermodel.

So, I've been trying to convert a Half-Life GoldSrc HD Pack Barney ragdoll to a player model. I've done about 5 attempts and the closest I got to a working playermodel is a model with disconnected hands and a few polys sticking out of the shoulder (probably due to my inexpirience with working with weight maps) or the 5th attempt I've done which is just using the the model I already found and modifying the qc poorly and I got a t-pose. It would be nice to get some help with this. Someone making the playermodel for me would be very helpful too. Thanks!

Model: secure.mdl

Usually people won't do it for you, you'd get more replies by posting more pics about the error instead of just a description, from what I've heard I got the suspicion that the model's original skeleton might be different, to get around that you could try using the proportion trick, I suggest replicating the time you went as close as possible to an actual playermodel and then post a help post about it, not many people will download a file from internet strangers, even with their best intents.
If it's the original rigging from GoldSrc, you're gonna have to either rerig the model to Valve Biped, or rename all the bones to be like Valve Biped(Which should work).
I got the model from a ragdoll I found on the steam workshop. Rigged the skeleton from the barney model of a Half-Life Source playermodel pack to the mesh using Blender. But I'm still having issues.
The arms are too high up for my tastes.
The arms and legs bend very sharply.
The hands are not connected.
A thing that bothers me less, is there some way i could make the legs bend less forward in the idle pose.
If you want more pictures, files, or anything else. I can get em.
