• How to disable water overlay in GMOD

Okay, I've tried uninstalling all my addons from Garry's Mod hoping that it would get rid of the water overlay it automatically turns on, but the problem keeps persisting. I've made sure the overlay is turned off in the Post Processing tab, and tried even turning it on and setting it to 0 but still my vision underwater is blurred. I would've liked to do some underwater photos in GMOD but I can't with this overlay affecting the quality of my work. I recall a while back you could go underwater and your graphics and quality would be as clear and sharp as if you were on land. Whatever did they do to make it like this, and how can I disable the water blur and overlay when I'm in GMOD?
I'm not sure about the overlay but could you get around this by using the Camera tool?
Nope, the view from the Camera has the overlay on it too.
Go into console (~ key.) and type, fog_enable_water_fog 0 Now, when you want it back on; Type, fog_enable_water_fog 1
No, it's not the fog. It's the automatic overlay that enables itself every time I go underwater and distorts my in-game vision. Let me show you an example. Observe how clearly you can see the stove above the water and then under it. I remember about a year ago, you can see things underwater as clearly as you would on land but somewhere along the way, they added the overlay which automatically distorts your in-game vision every time you go underwater for the realism effect. I have tried to manually enable an overlay in the tab they're in and set the function to 0, but even then my in-game vision is still blurred. I would like to make underwater photos in Garry's Mod of good quality, and I cannot with this overlay messing things up. That's what I'm trying to ask on how to disable and make it as clear as you can see things on land for my photos.
Try lowering: mat_wateroverlaysize "128".
Nope. Doesn't work. Even at 0, the overlay is still present.
