can i run rust with this spec?

8GB RAM
ye although your ram will def max out if you have more than 2 other programs open with rust
especially if you have multiple tabs open in chrome
but you should be fine

Uhm nope. I have 8GB RAM and i can easily run Rust on fantastic and a lot of other programs at once.
Your specs are ok and you can Rust, don't worry.
My gf has 8gb and she runs on fantastic fine too.
rip i got 16GB and sometimes maxes out...
Yeah, Rust tends to cap out at around 7-7.5GB of memory for me. I upgraded to 16GB of RAM just because of this. I used to just kill every program save steam.

put all the settings on lowest (potato in launch options), and feel free to max out view distance. That's how I play anyways. Well, except for texture quality, I slap that up a tiny bit just so walls aren't empty slabs.
Doesn't A4 5300 use fm2 socket? Why not just get a fx6300 for like $50 and upgrade your cpu. If it's the same socket than it'd be a huge upgrade from the A4.

Do not expect much from it man. I'm having simmular / lil better specs, running it highest settings.

I'm allowed to run it max settings, but I think you have to adjust settings and watch out how many tabs you open, no screen switching, and if you get 30 fps, you should accept that.
Important thing to know:
With your set-up, 30 fps will not mean it's unplayable. I've used to play at least 2000 hours on-board, and got no freezes and crashes at all, only low fps.
