Star Trek and Related Shows such as The Orville v1 Do You Speak Klingon?

The Orville has some silly humour, but so did TOS. Discovery has a story arc, but so did DS9. The exploration and the idea that we can earn about ourselves through encounters with other species has been common to all official and unofficial incarnations and spoofs, as have the liberal leaning moral lessons.
I love Star Trek and would like a discussion all the versions and spoofs, if anyone is up for it.
