Convert a normal XHTML/CSS Website to WordPress template.

Hi,

I'm needing help on how to convert my website to a word press template, I'm pretty good at (X)HTML and CSS but not PHP.

Well... What did you try? Only the basics of PHP are required, hell, not even the basics. All you gotta do is insert snippets of code at certain places to include content. If you want to do a theme by yourself, this might be a good link to start:

Although I would suggest modifying an existing theme's CSS to make your own, way easier.

Just download a blank template and build your layout around it.

I find doing it as a normal site then converting it over less of a pain
