Hi there,
Recently, I decided to start learning Java. I know well C++, so new language is not a problem. So, my question is: Which way of Java development would be more "fresh", so learning it won't be a wasting of time? Maybe programming for android or else? Got any experience or ideas?
Mobile development for Android probably.
If you don't want to get to get into enterprise computing, you should probably go for a different language, as Java is falling out of use very quickly currently (on desktop systems).
(Unsurprisingly. The latest installer versions mess with browser settings by default and install toolbars, not to mention the huge amount of security issues.)
Thanks for the replay,
So, in Your opinion, Android development is most "Profitable" atm? And I will look for a job after I get some experience in that dev, should I have some problem in finding?

not to mention some browsers and operating systems disabling java by default.
i think java is good for learning basic data structures, which can be applied to any other language than java.

Well, there are a lot Java Mobile Developers since Java is an easy language and it's free to develop on the Android SDK. But if you already have experience with C++, you should have a little boost.
I've been doing a lot of Android development recently and it's definitely worth getting into. Worst case scenario is you don't like it and you know a new language.
Also, I can't help read your posts in a Polish accent.
