Im making a game, and want to know how I can make it so when I press g for grenade, how to make it play the grenade throwing animation, then the flying animation, and then the explosion animation.
I have gifs of all of these already
Willing to to merge them all if it helps.

I've currently been trying to get into Flash, but I don't really have the time to finish any big projects. I'm working on templates with basic things, then people can download the source and add on.
Right now I'm making a basic game with masterchief from halo, he has the basic animations for walking, jumping, and running.

Right now I'm doing Ness from nintendo, but I can swap over
AS3 is way better, but it still confuses the shit out of me with syntax errors.
I can help with Keyboard Events in AS3 but I have no clue about AS2
