I AM SO MAD AT LIFE! I made this game in unity for the use of mobile phones and iPads. (IOS) It's a simple pong gamem wich I DO NOT plan to get up to the appstore. I just want it to be transfered into MY OWN iPhone. Just so that I can show the shit off to my friends. Please, dearest unity users... Help me.. End this suffering. - Sorry for all the caps and (B). But I've been on this issue for weeks now.
I dont have much experience with IOS, though I think it would need to be jailbroken so you can manually run the game installer file on your iPhone.
Thank you for your answear. All my dreams just broke down as you said I needed to jailbreak it though. weeks of effort, lushed the fuck away ~
Apple man... the company where you need to pay 100$ to dev on THEIR platform... (not exactly.. but close enough)
- Sorry for all the caps and (B). But I've been on this issue for weeks now.
Entirely justified, I think most developers hit one of Apples more unusual policies sooner or later. (I did a few times, and I don't even use any of their devices.)
I haven't tried it yet but now that I've found it I'm looking at it as being very interesting. Found www.testflightapp.com Seems to allow you to upload builds, assign users who can then download the build using the Testflight iOS app. There's this guide which goes through the process (as far as I can see, it's all free) http://blog.teamthinklabs.com/index.php/2012/05/02/beta-testing-ios-apps-the-easy-way-testflight-unity-autopilot/

It is common knowledge that apple development works in inverse proportionality to how developers actually want their app development to be like. In contrast to how easy deploying to android is in unity(set sdk path, install drivers and enable usb debugging), apple deployment is made by and for vogons.
Thank you for your answear. All my dreams just broke down as you said I needed to jailbreak it though.
Why not jailbreak? There's really no downside to it unless you have to use a tethered jailbreak, which isn't too bad either.
From what I've heard the insurance will stop if you jailbreak
This is true, if there is any evidence that you have jailbroken your phone both your warranty and AppleCare are void. Unless you register an account at http://developer.apple.com and pay 99$ a year for the iOS SDK you sadly cannot install unsigned apps onto your phone/iPad. But, here's the good thing about jailbreaking, if you jailbreak, test the app and show it to your friends then restore your iPhone back to an unmodified copy of iOS 6/7 then there is pretty much no trace. So it's pretty safe assuming you don't drop your phone in a lake or something while it's jailbroken.
