• Teach me how to use Steam OpenID?

I'd like to learn how to use Steam's OpenID to authenticate users to a PHP driven website and I haven't got the faintest clue on how to do it. If someone's gotten this working already, would you mind teaching me how it works and how to do it? Thanks.
http://steamcommunity.com/dev Not to be a dick or anything, but this was the first result on Google. You'll have to download an OpenID library, then use http://steamcommunity.com/openid as the provider. You'll have to register your domain name in order to access the API key, and you'll need to put a "Sign in through Steam" button on your website. (This was taken from the above link)

Last time I tried to understand how to implement OpenID I ended up thinking 'fuck it' and lurking Facepunch. [editline]12:49PM[/editline] Although that was in 2008 so I'm smrater by now
Wait, now that Steam is using OpenID can we finally get SteamChat mobile for Android/iOS?
