It's been a while since I've posted on these forums but I thought I'd come back and ask a pretty simple question for my future resume website.
How's the website name: "Hatchetmedia.com" sound? Or "BLSmithMedia.net"? Cool? Dumb?
I'm an up and coming video editor/director and would like a domain that will last me a long while (for videos, blogs, pictures, etc).
I figure "BLSmithMedia" is a more 'safe' name as it is simply my name/initials with the word "media" at the end, but also took akeen to the first one.
Questions/Comments/Concerns/Bitches/Moans/Complaints? Would love to hear em' :)

BLSmith does sound more professional, but Hatchet has a better ring to it. Does somewhat violent though.
If you want something completely safe, pick the latter, but the first one sounds better imo.

I think I'll go with the Hatchetmedia site name. It may sound a little more violent but the website doesn't necessarily have to be designed violently. Plus it doesn't have to be exclusively a resume site. Down the line I can incorporate more pages for a more media driven angle.
BLSmithmedia without the numbers sound professional, but whatever you think is right for you.
