What do you do in Gold Digger, you ask? You go around and get magically appearing gold and silver for points! Sometimes a sweet stack of gold will appear and give you a cool five points, and a speed boost! Isn't it great how getting more, heavy, gold makes you move faster? 0.7 Changes: The first thing is that "README.txt" is up to date, as well as the source. I was lazy in 0.6... xD Also, (thanks to anihex) it finds the data directory and the *.exe so shortcuts work. :D And I handle the player and rock better by actually removing the instance and all the variables inside of said instance. :D And the biggest thing... LOGFILES! Yeah! Now it keeps a log of what happens during the game in a file named logfile.(random number).txt in your game/data/logfiles directory! Was expecting something vaguely like dig-dug. I am dissapoint :( [editline]09:47PM[/editline] Meh, I tried it. it's sort of fun
Its a start for me. Later on I was actually planning on making something like that. :D And its based off a game by Rachel J. Morris. She has pretty good tutorials. (She doesn't just feed you the code, but she tells you how to do it. Like a puzzle!)
Haha cool allegro, haven't seen that for ages.
Thanks... I geuss? :P
Needs to be more like Insaniquarium, where you're doing something with the gold as you're picking it up.
16 MPH? Why is she sprinting?
