Was wondering if anyone used Alice before.

[sp] It's really bad [/sp]
I'm working on a project and gross.
Oh man, I remember that from my first programming class. The whole semester that I had it I just wanted smash my head in with a brick.

Yea it's annoying.
For our final project we have to make a game with a win/lose condition and a random event.
I've been working on a fighting game but when I try and get it it to return the HP once it continues to return a random number. Gotta figure that out, but can't wait to get over this semester.
Ok I guess it was a good idea to not trust a school to try and teach me to program.
the promotional video is painful
Ive always wondered if these people knew how awful these programs were to use for anyone with an intelligence level above a 5 year old...

what the fuck
Maybe I should make a CIL to Alice compiler.
[sp]I probably won't.[/sp]

Why is this 1.4GB?

This is a lot less awful than I though, and it certainly is easy to get started with. Sound recording failed though, for some reason.
Look! It even exports directly to webm:

(The programming API looks pretty much what I'd do for a scripting interface, just in plain .NET Task Async without all the drag-and-drop stuff.)
Oh dear I just looked up what they do in my school, they start with OOP in java... That's one way to scare people off of programming I guess
Nevermind, everything about this is awful :suicide:
I took a course in high school that used this. The course lasted a semester, with the first half being html/css and the second half being this. It was the worst thing I ever used. The teacher said that Alice was similar to Java because you could "drag and drop code." :v:
