I have been programming and designing for over one and a half years now and am pretty flexible when it comes to those things, but one thing that I'm missing is experience in doing some actual work in software focused companies. So I thought maybe I could do something useful in my summer holidays this year and earn a tiny bit of money with it. Does anyone of you know where I could start searching? There aren't really any software companies/startups in my area so it would have to be online. As I stated earlier it could be anything from coding in something like C# to being a front-end designer. Obviously I don't have any degrees since I'm turning 16 this summer and am still going to school (hence why the holiday job)
Apply for an internship at some of the top software/web development companies. Usually they take a lot of people on summers. [editline]28th June 2014[/editline] How I found my first programmer job (not in any way a holiday job though): I just went on job board sites and applied to a ton of shit.
