Cheapest web hosting and Domain?

I am looking for a cheap domain and webhoster.
I want to create my own site [i](Captain obvious)[/i], so i am looking for a cheap webhoster and a .com domain

I'm currently only paying about £1.50 a month for my hosting on brohoster. Their domains aren't the cheapest though. It's been worth it though, I haven't had any problems with them at all.

I use barebonez.info for mine. Granted it is only to store some files but it seem's to work well.

Also, .com's are £9 from 1and1 but they are a bitch to transfer from if you ever need to.

Also, i am not really a HTML guy. not at all to be exact, is there some sort of pre-site generator? sort of like webs.com, except not that expansive.

Hosting24, domain and "unlimited" storage/bandwidth for $5'ish a month.

Has pretty decent load times, and I got a 5Mbit/s download speed on every connection I hooked up to it. (Multiple connections on the same internet connection gave me 5Mbit/s each too)

i used 1&1 for a co.uk domain and email a few years ago prices are ok but there webmail is godawful, i dont host anything with them though and never tried to transfer the domain.

I know they do .co.uk domains for 2 years at €7. But I prefer .com because that's what everyone thinks of first.

1. Find a registrar doing a loss leader offer
2. Find another registrar doing a loss leader offer that's also valid on transfers
3. Transfer domain, which also adds an extra year
4. Goto 2
