So I always wanted to make something neat.
There was this game called 30 Flights Of Loving, and I'm like 'wow, that's a cool way to tell story in short time', and then like 'I could make one too'. So I got an idea for a mod of the game. Contacted the creator who gave me an okay + access to the files and......I'm stuck :v:. I'm just a beginner modder. Had experience in making models, textures, anims and even maps, but to source (I know they're alike...a bit)
From what I see the database for the engine is quite weak. Nothing compared to the source one. Yet my ambition tells me to make the mod on io2.
Now here goes my question. Does anyone have experience in modding the engine, and could provide some basic info to help me start? I just need the basic knowledge. Afterwards I'll do the rest myself.
ps. The author also used KMquake 2. That's probably important.
