Is this a reliable resource to learn C++?

Hello everybody,

I'm beginning to learn C++ and I've completed a few lessons on this site. Before I move on, however, I am just wondering from some C++ regulars if this is a reliable source and if the information being taught on these tutorials is legit:

Do you recommend any other site / book for tutorials? Is the information provided on these tutorials legitimate?

Anyone can write a guide on the internet, books are written by professionals who are PAID to do so.
