I was trying to decide between tech support and here, and I went with here. But anyway, I was wondering, how do I set up my own email domain? like <name>@blahblah.com instead of <name>@gmail.com. Is it easy? Is it hard? Does it cost money?
Here you go: http://www.likoma.com/using-google-apps-and-gmail-for-youyourdomaincom/
Buy a domain get a webhost if it has cPanel you can manage your email there.
Well thats at least a way i know
Very easy way to do it is google apps. You can sign up using your own @crap.com domain and as long as you dont pick the premier edition, its free. Basically GMail with your own domain :D
Go to Google apps, buy a domain name through them, like $10 or get your own. Voila, blahblahblah@blahblahblah.com
Edit: above beat me to it.
So I'm guessing any free domains are gonna be pieces of shit/keyloggers like most other free things on the internet?

Last time I checked domains weren't free. Where did you find a place that was going to give you a free domain?

I didn't. I just figured there would be a 'free domain' website some where. I didn't actually find one.
domains.tk offers you a free TLD.

Ok. And domains are not that expensive. You can get one for as low as like $7/year. If you are looking for your own email, it is about as cheap as you will find it(doing it through google apps that is).

I'd love my own TLD, regardless of whether it's free or not! Can you help me out here?
People, go to GoDaddy.com and get a domain for a year, two years, whatever. Find a cheap host, setup a dumb website and email. Tada, you have your own domain and as many email accounts as you want.

Mainly only countries can own their own TLDs, not even huge corporations can, so you definitely can't.
