• Best Advertising Company?

Ok, so recently I got rejected from Google Adsense for "generating invalid activity" however i did nothing wrong to deserve the ban from them, so i have decided to look for a alternative place for advertising but couldn't find any good ones. Are there any other good advertising company like google adsense? I really liked them but if they are going to ban me for no reason or warning i see no reason to appeal to get back into the scheme. Edit: I had over £4 in that google adsense account then they just took all the money and left.
£4? The horror! I've heard of AdBrite and Clicksor, maybe you can check them out? Although I think one of them has a minimum amount of traffic required
Wow Clicksor is awesome, thanks allot lazypenguin.
I've used AdBrite for a few years, never had a problem with them.
I use Project Wonderful for a couple of sites. It's almost like a reverse invite-only though. You need to be validated and stuff before you're accepted. You also need to maintain a certain level of site performance. I just took a look at Clicksor though, I might check them out.
lol four pounds
http://buysellads.com/ is good, if you like spending over $1k, but I can tell your budget doesn't pass $7.

I'm happy with Clicksor at the moment, just gotta watch out for the sneaky settings they put on the code if you don't prune it you get all sorts of shit like when you navigate round the site full page popups appear and under-ads appear is well HOLY SHIT I MADE 9p!
9p? 9 pennys? 9 cents?
9 pence
I Dont know what that is or how to convert it to USD -
You don't earn a lot of money do you? I lost $800 when my google ads account was closed for "violating the terms" I didn't violate any terms, but some of the people visiting my website decided to start spamming "Click the ads to support the website!!" which apparently google's bots didn't like. :colbert:
Oh man that sucks
If we use Google Ads as a base here's how the others have stacked up for me over 2 years of rotating ad companies every 6 months or so. AdBrite - 60% Project Wonderful - 40% BuySellAds - 30% ClickBank - 10% I might try Clicksor but I have a feeling it won't be much better than Buy/Sell Ads. Even though I make less with AdBrite I tend to like it more than Adsense as I know my account won't get shutdown randomly or locked out for dumb reasons.

Just enter your social security number in that spot. It's basically the same thing for their purposes.

I'm not sure if you can get a custom payout directly to a bank account or so, but iirc they only do checks unless you ask them elsewise.

If anyone is interested i think it goes: 1. AdBrite 2. Clicksor 3. Google Adsense 1 = best 3 = worst
Is Adsense 3rd because they don't like you or because they're actually bad?
Because they close your account unless you live by their terms.
Because they close your account unless you live by their terms.
Are their terms not fair then?
Are their terms not fair then?
oh there TO fair
Because they close your account unless you live by their terms.
as do most services...
Because they close your account unless you live by their terms.
Isn't that what terms are for? [editline]14th December 2010[/editline] Erm, ninja'd by an hour. How is that even possible?
How is that even possible?
You not reading posts, before posting your self.
You not reading posts, before posting your self.
Thanks for clarifying that for me, just in case it wasn't a rhetorical question or anything.
Thanks for clarifying that for me, just in case it wasn't a rhetorical question or anything.
Oh no problem :downs: Also I use Google AdSense.. Still no problem with them, just don't press your own ads and don't have something written saying "Press my ads" than you'll be fine. Oh wait, you've been banned.. :/ ah well

[editline]14th December 2010[/editline] If the project you want to have advertising on isn't a close community then adsense is fine, AdBrite are pretty damn good, they pay per view and click.
