Have only, and I mean [I]ONLY[/I] what the website is about, not tons of useless crap
- Be unique
Unique features gets everyone's attention. If they're useful enough, people may prefer your website/forum over others.
- No fucking money whoring
Don't place ads everywhere, don't sell "VIP" or titles, and especially not any moderator/administrator rights.
You may whore your site out to advertisers once you've got enough people visiting your website.
- Have a point
You don't make a website/forum just to make a website/forum, you make it to give something to the people visiting. There's 200,000 billion gazillion free forums out there, all with "G3ming s3ct1onz", and they all die within seconds of creations cause they suck so hard the members of the gay section gets a hard-on from it's incredible aura of cock-suckage.

I randomly checked out Clunge King like 2 days ago for shits and giggles. It's still there, except the only people posting there are spambots. Hundreds of spambots.
