• Flade - Open Source Flash Physics Engine Tutorial Request

So I've been looking around for a tutorial on this for almost a month now, and no matter where i look there's nothing on it. So i beg of you, if you know anything about this or a link or even another AS2 physics engine (hopefully a better one with dynamic object collision) that could be helpful to me in any way, shape or form, would be very much obliged Edit: oh yea if you want this or want to have a look, its at http://www.cove.org/flade/
Well for one "The Flade project is now closed. Check out the new open source AS3 engine -- APE!" and for two there are demos there for you to look at. [editline]12:03PM[/editline] And even APE hasn't been touched since 06. http://www.box2dflash.org/ is probably a better bet.
can't use ape, i don't have as3 only 2. and the demos are so people can see what it looks like. its not a guide or tutorial or anything like that.
To be honest with you, I don't think you'll get much help. Flade is completely obsolete, and AS2's been on its way out for quite a while now. It's fairly simple to pick up though, and I played with it a bit a couple of years ago. If you're after anything specific I may be able to help. As for other AS2 physics engines, I can't really think of any. It'd be hard to make something amazing in it purely because of speed constraints. If you decide to switch to AS3, I'd recommend looking into Motor2 and FOAM.
The source to the demos should be in the zip with all the code. Hence me saying look at the demos. You should not need a guide or a tutorial.
