I got chosen to represent my High School at a interscholastic meet in HTML.

I received a paper today from one of my teachers saying I was chosen to represent my high school at an interscholastic meet in HTML and Web Page Design.
I'm assuming if I do well in this, it could help me toward getting scholarships and stuff.
Although I do know mostly everything about HTML, I was just curious, what are the main things I should study over?
Proper HTML I.E. <html>,<head><title>,<body>, etc.
Teachers tend to get a hardon for semantically correct markup!

You should think that someone who describes himself as someone who "knows mostly everything" about html also knows the most basic ones as the ones you mentioned..

What is your definition of improper HTML, may I ask?

No closing tag on tags that need one, no body tag, etc.

Never hurts to study.

I "learned" HTML 5-6 years ago and I still remember everything. You don't need to "study" it at all. :v:

Ah. Well thanks everyone. I guess there's not much to know anyways. Just a lot of basic stuff in it.
lol HTML quiz? What are all the possible types of meta attributes?
You should have jQuery pizzazz.
HTML5 for lolz.
Edit: But seriously, make sure you use valid XHTML, don't use deprecated tags, use doctype, meta, etc.
I got first, by the way. I just got back from it. Just walked around the campus with some new friends from my school from 1-4, and watched the teacher that invited me (which seems like he's the age of a college student, he looks like he's 19.) rock climb and stuff.
It was all over XHTML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
What did you win?

School won a trophy since we had nearly everyone get in first, and I got some certificate.

Only certificate I ever one is my birth certificate, so congrats.
