To be honest, these type of companies pop up almost hourly. It's not really anything special and most of the more elite (dare I say this?) of Web Development already have either really nice shared hosting or our own VPSs/Dedis. It's not anything that special, and quite frankly there is almost no way to distinguish this one over anyone else who offers this service.

Agreed. Most hosts fall from the sky, but to be honest this is prejudicing.
Soon we will get VPS/Dedi's but to be honest. We recently launched and theres no need for it currently
It's not a matter of Most, It's almost one in every like, five thousand that will possibly make a couple of bucks. Shared hosting seems kind of dumb to get into at this point, you need a good gimmick and you need good advertising. At this point your friend doesn't even have a website that displays properly. I don't have much hope for this.

awesome: pretty much said it how it was, I'll use the age old facepunch quote on this one and say by starting another hosting "company" you're pissing in a sea of piss, There are already so many "companies" that offer hosting. The people here who desire higher end hosting, such as myself, pay larger companies for it because we seek reliability and dependability. Those who need small hosting either already have it for the most part or host themselves. You gotta be different, and another basic "cheap" hosting company won't cut it. It's good that you wanna try SOMETHING, but try something else.

You're just using a reseller account, your services are only as good as theirs. I used high end hosting, but if you wanna sell to your target audience at least make your site look good, and actually function.
