Is it worth it?
Would i need to register a business or anything like that?
Should i do it from a VPS/dedi and set it up myself, or start with selling hosting from somewhere like Lithium reseller accounts?
A lot of hosts offer cheap reselling packages, too, if you're looking to get started on solid ground. I wouldn't know who to recommend though.

Here we go again!
In all seriousness, if you want to have a successful business and make money, you need to be different, have something the others don't.
Just don't do it without a big business plan!

This. Shared hosting is a dime-a-dozen. If you are doing it, you need something that will draw people to it, and I'm not talking about "Unlimited" bullshit.
The fact that you are coming to FacePunch and asking what you should do is clearly conveying you have no idea on Reselling and the business's out there, So I think you should first get a clear business plan before even starting anything.
Resell Brohoster, claim you're the best reseller in the world.
Wouldn't be lying.

Also, you can try to expand your business to a country like The Netherlands, Belgium or Germany. You can do everything from your 'personal office'.
I'm hosting a website at Junga Webdevelopment. They offer low prices for a lot of hosting, never let me down once in the two years. URL: http://ww.junga.nl/ :) they're dutch.
Having a server in the UK and Amsterdam. So host with Lithium and Junga for ultimate glory.

Posting on Facepunch asking for peoples opinion does not mean they have no idea what they're talking about, those two things don't even relate at all.
You can even see in his post that he's just getting ideas to start up..

We don't sell any webhosting anymore, actually. However, I think one of our subsidiary companies is going to be launching a webhosting brand solely for resellers.
I've always wondered about reseller accounts. They always offer you ungodly amounts of disk space and bandwidth for not a lot more than their normal packages. What's the deal, how do they make money?

No one ever uses those resources, and when they do the host shuts them down.
