I am looking to hire a web developer for three sites I need developed. Two of them are fairly small, while the third is pretty decent size. I want to hire someone within North America (US or Canada). Also, I would prefer someone freelance, not affiliated with a big company. If anyone knows where I can find a developer, it would be appreciated.

For people to know what sort of job needs to be done they need to know more then just 'Fairly Small' or 'Pretty decent size'. I'm not trying to sound like a prick, but with more information people will know what their up for - and you would probably find a developer quicker with more detailed information.

You need just a coder? You have a graphic designer? Any wire framing or ideas; or are you just looking for someone to do it all? What kind of sites?
