• Looking for downloadable C#/C++ book for offline use

I'm looking for some sort of book that I can purchase/download (for free of course) that can be used offline. Every other day at school, I have these very long breaks in between classes (one class is in the morning the other is in the evening so I have like 4 hours with nothing to do) and I would like to take that time to start (more like restart) learning C++ or C#. So is there any books that can downloaded (for free) or purchased online that I can view offline?
this book is ok, but it starts from the bare basics link doesnt seem to work so just go here and choose yellow book 2009 http://www.csharpcourse.com/ [editline]28th April 2011[/editline] Or the C# wikibook http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b3/C_Sharp_Programming.pdf
The basics would probably be best for me. I want to get into game design (which is one of the courses I'll be taking next semester in college) but I thought it would be best to start making simple programs first. Especially since I don't really know anything :v: [editline]29th April 2011[/editline] Wait, why the 2009 version and not 2010?
