• Wordpress Homepage Issue

Trusty members of FP, I come to you for help with a pain in the arse issue I have I got a domain through godaddy.com. I used wordpress to make the website for my business (well, redesigned someone else's template) The problem I have is that wordpress seems to default the homepage to www.*url*.com/home If you just put the url in ending .com without the /home it brings up the website layout but a big empty space in the middle with "THERE ARE NO POSTS ON THIS PAGE" Although you can still navigate into and around the site with the menu on the page its annoying and unprofessional looking to visitors and I can't really advertise the website address as www.*url*.com/home What I really need is either a way of getting wordpress to not have a url extension on the homepage Or an auto redirect to send anyone who just puts the normal url in from there to the proper homepage but I can't find out how to do it. Any ideas guys?
I only know .aspx but try serching for Response.Redirect for what ever language wordpress is using
You need to provide a lot more information than you currently are. The web server are you using would be a good start.
What settings do you have in "Reading"?(Settings->Reading) Also, which theme do you have enabled?
Problem solved, had reading set to latest posts rather than static page. Apologies about the lack of info I have never used wordpress before so I didn't have a clue about what details you could get/need but thanks for the help anyway guys
