• Where to start learning lua?

So after 2 hours of deciding if i should learn LUA or Pike. I've decided Lua for various of reasons. But how would this community suggest i start learning? What is the easiest way? Should i read some of the contents on http://www.lua.org/manual/5.2/ Or Should i start coding on Garry's Mod? I have some very basic experience when it comes to coding on Garry's Mod, i've found it very fun and frustrating at the same time. What do you think? Any other alternatives? EDIT: found this http://lua.gts-stolberg.de/en/
Take the PIL. Learn the basics, then move on to whatever you're looking to do with Lua. If you're looking to get into game development, I'd recommend looking into Love.
love2d for some basic 2d graphics could be a good place to start in combination with lua.org
http://lua.gts-stolberg.de/en/ found this pretty little link ,basicly how to start lua for idiots. Since i'm an idiot this will be perfect! Thanks for the other support too.
It's Lua not LUA.
I had alot of fun learning Lua through Garry's Mod. It's easy to learn your basic concepts and then just apply them to little scripts.
