I would like to invest in a donation page. It honestly only needs to be bare minimum. No css or anything but I would like it to connect to a MySQL database using PayPal IPN and at least have the form set up. Price would be discussed on accepting.

Well maybe you just can't read? Too bad anyways. I got what I needed done and it works fine.

Well the donation button would have fitted all your needs, it's faster creating a button that way plus you can even make a custom image and link it to that instead of using the default ones.
No need to be rude, you're asking US for help.

I don't think you get what I mean and I apologize for being rude.

No, I don't think you know how to explain what you require. From your original post. It had no real spec just a bunch of terms thrown together which had no real purpose. Of course Moofy was going to suggest what everyone else thought you wanted...

We actually get a lot of donation page request on this part of the forum. If you're not satisfied with using the paypal button, you can always post your budget and hire someone. (But seriously ive only seen one good offer on this forum for freelancing while being on this forum since ~09)
Most people ignore your post because most of the time price is always too low. They dont want to bother asking.
And if you got what you asked for already, no need to be an ass.
I was thinking $40 as a budget. And I apologized for being rude so why are you being an ass?

I can't see many developers accepting that. Considering I charge close to that per hour for web design. You asking people for help, you didn't really clearly describe what you wanted. That's why people are being a bit of an ass. Anyway good luck, hope you get what you need.

I did. Honestly to clarify, i was looking for someone that had a working IPN script. I could have easily made the website myself
Not really, all you said was "I want paypal donate connected to MySQL" that could be any number of things. You could want the name recorded so you can show donors on a page, you could want it to promote people to a special rank on a forum, you could want it to save their steam id so you can give them special stuff on a gmod server, or you could want all of those things. "An IPN Script" is kind of meaningless

Look it's like this.
You asked us to help with something, you didn't really specify what so I just took the most logical thing I could find from what I understood in the OP. I do accept your apology, and I didn't take it personal. I just think it was a bit too much since we're only trying to help.
For the IPN part, there are already a few finished IPN's out there, you just have to pass the data into variables and then update your database.
