Hello. Id like to work with an experienced modder ( or atleast someone who can show me the things described below ) to teach me the creation of basic and advanced mods based around the current build of Team Fortress 2 and the Team Fortress 2 Beta ( which was found in the orange box ). My skills: Basic Phython programming. A really good understanding of the creation of games and a good understanding of the workflow that comes with it. Basic Java scripting Basic HTML scripting Modelling in Blender. Advanced and basic. Model compiling using crowbar I do know how to use hammer I do know how to animate ( using SFM ) Texturing and other graphical skills What i want to learn: Manipulating TF2 Items and other games items Creation of custom weapons, items, game mechanics, characters, hud elements, and so forth C++ if and as far as i need it ( aka only as far as you want/i need to know to be able to make mods. This doesnt have to be if you explain it to me when you think i will learn it while we are learning the other stuff) I dont expect real lessons to be happening but that would be nice. If you just want to show me the very basics thats fine too as long as i can ask you how certain things can be done :D Im a really nice guy and writing like this isnt my thing. I am not native english so excuse the spelling mistakes. I do SPEAK english pretty fluently thou ( 90% fluent 10% studdering and tripping over my own tounge ). I do use Skype and Mumble. Interested ?: Reply and/or add me on: Skype: MoustacheSpy Steam: Biggest Gaming Network Im sorry if this was wierd to you :D Thanks in advance:D [editline]26th August 2015[/editline] Uhm noone? Come on you dont have to give me lessons. Just tell me how to manipulate stuff when i need to. Or create.
Can't you just teach yourself and then ask questions when you need to in the thread made for asking questions when you need to?
I guess but its easier when you have sb helping you
Yes, working is easier when someone else does the work. We can help you make your mod but you're going to have to put in most of the work.
well i need a person to teach me the basics first. At least the basics of c++. Got any links?
