Usage:-

Use this software to pick and block Steam servers that you don't want to play on.

Blocking servers -

1: Click a bunch of servers so they go blue 2: Press "Apply"

Unblocking servers -

Option 1: Click them so they go green Option 2: Press "Reset" Option 3: Close the software

Limitations:-

Software needs to be ran as administrator since it changes your firewall options to block other servers.

You must be running MS firewall otherwise it won't work 100%

You may have to increase your maximum match making ping in the game menu.

I can't get this to work... I click the other countries to make them blue but US East keeps getting blocked when it's green and US West is stuck being blocked. Windows 8.1 issues maybe?

It definitely works, select US E and US W and you get about 100 ping but everyone seems to have a mic, I find it easier to rank up on too! The only problem is though, Russia is based on the Stockholm servers, so there's a chance they creep into all EU Servers.

When you're blocking you need to make sure that every country you WANT is BLUE, otherwise it gets overwritten with the BLOCKED status. if when it pings some servers turned RED just Reset and try again :)
If you've blocked all of them and you don't want one of the blocked servers to be blocked you can reclick it and it'll unblock too
If you're still not suceeding, I'd be really grateful if you could write steps to replicate the issue, and I'll get it fixed within 48 hours :)

I use something pretty similar that I got from gamebanana ages ago. Nice to see that someone made an open source alternative.

I've just made a quick patch, the source code won't be comitted as there is work to be done on the menu.. (Reuse the download link provided in the topic :))

1: Block a server by making them blue then pressing apply
2: Click a blocked server to unblock it and it'll turn green.
3: Click a green server and it'll turn red.
4: Reset if you want to block all of the servers by doing the blue clicking and applying step.

Hope this is a suitable fix for now, I'll look into it tonight!

I'm aware there is a closed source version. However the support isn't really there, the Steam servers will be updated at some point so it's nice for people to find and contribute if they wish. And would you really trust a program running as administrator if you couldn't see the internals? ;)
