Facepunch Programming is the best programming community on the internet

I love this forum because it's big enough that it's consistently active every day, but small enough that I know most of your usernames by heart. Stack overflow is too large to feel as if anyone could help me, 4chan /g/'s solution to everything is "JavaScript sucks, C is a meme language, emacs blows install Gentoo"

But facepunch is the most helpful community I've ever visited.

I'm still an arrogant asshole who thinks he knows everything, though

Today, I got a callback from a company I interviewed with

They said I was a top candidate and that they want me to come in for a second round of interviews (bit of a surprise because I didn't think I handled the technical side of the interview well)

I said "just to confirm, this is for an internship right?"

Basically no. They were asking me to interview for a full time position. They thought I was a senior not a junior.

So I asked "is that a problem? Can I still interview for the internship?"

They said that since I was a top choice for the full time position, they were going to go ahead and send me an offer for an internship

Anyways,ive got a couple weeks to decide between a few offers, but I wanted to say thank you, facepunch. I went from "what's the random() function" to this, thanks entirely to you all
