VtM:B style dialogue system on Source

Hi! I'd like to create a dialogue system for my source mod that would act pretty much like one in VtM:B:

1. Zoom onto character's face
2. Show a dialogue tree
3. Play a choreography file sequence in response to the chosen option

I'm a beginner modder and have almost no experience in coding besides beginners stuff. How difficult would that be?
I'm not sure where to start. Are there any tutorials that could help me to get a loose grasp and get to the point where I could create what I need?
This system is pretty much a cornerstone for what I want to create and it doesn't sound too complicated on paper...
