Welp, I'm not exactly a good developer nor am I that advanced in making games, however I am proficient, that's besides the point. This is probably a million dollar idea I'm pitching to you all, however, I'm going to anyways as I'd really like to see this created. I'm thinking, an open world motor cycle gang, game. Similar to the Sons of Anarchy. First person, open world, tons of guns/explosives, I'm not sure what the overall goal could be but I'm getting ideas for quests and maybe able to recruit citizens and whatnot, obviously realistic health system, possibly food/water, tired, get sleep, choose and design a club house, keep it protected, etc. I'm attempting to create this however I'm a pretty shitty coder and am not doing too well. Gimme some ideas (Not sure where else to post this, so posting it here. <3 ) [editline]24th June 2017[/editline] Is it really that bad?

learn to code and you'll also understand why it hasn't been done before
You basically described Rust but with motorcycles. Also, just a friendly note, ideas guys don't get very far here. If you can't program and don't want to learn to program, the Programming subforum's not very useful to you.

However, that is, in fact, a good point. That quoted sentence is probably uncalled for, my b. Onto the topic itself, I think an open-world game is maybe not the best choice for a solo project, especially if the solo coder does not have tons of experience under their belt. It's a great idea but there's a reason why GTA V took hundreds of people and $135 million to develop (never mind marketing).
I actually don't have anything against ideas guys as long as they can fill out this document in it's entirety. If you can, then you have a solid chance of your project going from idea to reality. http://ironbellystudios.com/gdd-template/
Learn C#. Learn Unity. Make your game. Don't give up on your dreams.

Believe me, if there was a way to learn 4 coding languages in under 24 hours, I would do it. I want to be able to code my ideas. And I'm really trying to learn. I've coded small games. Nowhere near as major. And no, when I say open world, I mean gta-5 type. Cities, not straight terrain like Rust. The game would be modern day, etc. Now, as for all of you. I'm not talking about doing it solo, nor do I want to do it solo, I'm simply pitching an idea and looking for feedback. I'd like ideas, I'd like suggestions, and yeah, maybe one day I'd like this to become a game. Not anytime soon, but one day. Ffs

Its like people saying new years-eve promises they never keep. And beside this community absolutley hate people who come with "brilliant" ideas bc most of them take so much work that it seems that only old school coders stop them selfs posting about these ideas due to the sheer workscale of the code. so it often leaves us at people who dont code that post these ideas, and most of these are very young people :/
